Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026. This policy is written in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, contact us and we'll explain it.
The Short Version
We collect nothing ourselves. There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no forms that ask for personal information. The speaker-cleaning tool runs entirely in your browser — the cleaning sounds are generated locally on your device, and no audio is uploaded to our servers or anywhere else.
What We Don't Collect
- No accounts, no emails, no names. The tool works without any of this, so we don't ask for it.
- No audio data. The cleaning tones are synthesized in your browser using the Web Audio API. Nothing you play is recorded, transmitted, or stored.
- No device diagnostics. We don't read your device model, speaker status, or any system information.
Cookies and Advertising
This site is funded by advertising, which keeps the tool free. Here's the current state of things:
- Ad slots are disabled until approval. No advertising network code is currently running on this site.
- A consent banner will be shown at deploy. Before any advertising or analytics cookies are set, you'll see a CookieYes consent banner asking for your choice. You can accept, reject, or customize — and change your mind later.
- Once approved, the ad network (expected to be Google AdSense) may set its own cookies to serve and measure ads. Those cookies are governed by the ad network's own policies, not this one, and only load after you consent via the banner.
Log Data
Like virtually every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. We don't combine these logs with any personal information — because we don't hold any — and we don't use them for tracking or profiling.
External Links
This site links to external resources (for example, manufacturer support pages). We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of other websites — check their policies if you're concerned.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes — like introducing a feature that collects data — will be highlighted on the site before they take effect.
